The Castle
The castle can be found in the historical centre of the old town, and is one of the few things that has been preserved from the Muslim era. La Medina de Marbella was one of the most important towns of the "Rayya" (Málaga province). The Marbella wall covered approximately 90,000 m² in its glory days. In this area the narrow streets of the old quarter have been preserved in their original design.

Roman Ruins of Río Verde
Situated between Marbella town centre and Puerto Banús, they were known to exist in the 18th century. It wasn't until 1960 that archaeologists Carlos Posac Mon and D. Fernando Alcalá Marín discovered the ruins. The internal patio, columns (peristyle) and the dozen rooms were designed to let light through to the interior.

Old Town
We suggest you visit the beautiful old town of Marbella, with its original narrow streets and houses dating back to the 16th century. The shops and restaurants in the area with their white facades have magnificently preserved it, with their geranium-filled balconies giving you the real feel of Spain.

Puerto Banús
Puerto Banús, which takes its name from its promoter D. José Banús, is situated six kilometres from Marbella town centre. It is one of the top tourist attractions in the area, honoured by the National Tourist Interest centre and awarded the Gold Medal of Merit in Tourism. It is visited by more than four million people per year, and has also been granted the Gold Mercury International award in Rome for the economic, cultural and social development of the area. Inaugurated in 1970 after two years of construction, it has 915 moorings for yachts of 8 to 50 metres, and has moored some of the most luxurious yachts and cruisers from all over the world.

Church of the Incarnation
In the heart of Marbella's old town you can find one of the most beautiful and popular squares. The church square is home to "Iglesia Mayor de Santa María de la Encarnación", constructed in 1505, then modified in 1712 and 1756, when Pedro del Castillo and Salvador Gávez worked on the fabulous main facade.

Safari Park
Selwo is an unforgettable safari park, unique in Europe, where you can live an authentic adventure of nature. Across more than 100 hectares of savage mountain ranges and tropical paradise you will find animals from five different continents in their own environment.
