THE CASTLE
The Castle construction can be found in the historical
centre of the old town and the one of the few things that has been
preserved from the Muslim era. La medina de Marbella was the most important
of the "Rayya" (Malaga province).
The Marbella wall covered approximately 90.000 M2 in its glory. In this area
the narrow streets of the old quarter have been conserved in there original
design.
ROMAN RUINS OF RIO VERDE
Situated between Marbella town centre and Puerto Banus they were known to exist in the XVIII century. It wasn't until 1960 that the archaeologists Carlos Posac Mon and D. Fernando Alcalá Marí discovered the ruins. The internal patio, columns (peynistylum) and the dozen rooms that were designed to through light on the interior.

We suggest you visit the beautiful old town of Marbella with the original narrow streets and houses dating back to the XVI century. The shops and restaurants in the area with its white facades have magnificently preserved it with there geranium filled balconies. Gives you the real feel of Spain.
PUERTO
BANUS
Puerto Banus which gained it's name from the promoter, D. José Banús, is situated six kilometers from Marbella town centre. It is one of the number one tourist attractions in the area. Honored by the National Tourist Interest centre and gained the Gold medal of Merit in tourism, is visited by more than four million people per year. Has also been granted the Gold Mercury International in Rome for the economic, cultural and social development of the area. Inaugurated in 1970 after taking two years to construct with 915 moorings for yachts of 8 to 50 meters. Needless to say they have moored some of the most luxury yachts and cruisers from all over the world.
CHURCH OF THE INCARNATION
In the heart of Marbella old town you can find one of the most beautiful squares and very popular with visitors. The church square where you can find "Iglesia Mayor deSanta Maria de la Encarnacion" constructed in 1505. Then modified in 1712 and 1756 in which Pedro del Castillo and Salvador Gávez worked on the fabulous main facade.
