Guided day trip/tour to Granada & Alhambra from Costa del Sol with pickup at hotels and busstops.
Granada, the longest lasting Arab Kingdom in Spain (800 years of Arab occupation), celebrated in 1992 the 500 th anniversary of its fall to the Catholic Kings, Ferdinand and Isabelle. The city is world wide famous and known for its "Alhambra Palace" and Generalife Gardens. "The Alhambra Palace" is the best and most well preserved example of Islamic architecture in Spain. This medieval fortress, strategically located on the top of the hill, towers over the city, covers an area of 100.000 square meters and it is generally accepted as the 8 th wonder of the world. Many of the original palaces, squares and plazas still remain there as they were to be admired.
Pick up and accompanied by our accompanying guide departure to Granada. During the journey to Granada, your guide will explain the day's program and the landscapes and towns you'll encounter along the way.
Details group trips to Granada & Alhambra from Costa del Sol with local guide:
You will take a walk with the guide to the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel where you will have approx. 2.5 hours of free time in the center to have lunch and be able to visit the Royal Chapel or the Cathedral on your own and go shopping in La Alcaiceria. You will also go to the Alhambra to visit the Alhambra with the Nasrid Palace with the courtyard of the lions. The visit lasts approx. 2.5 hours. Return to the Costa del Sol.
Tour includes:
Coach, accompanying guide, free time in Granada, entrance to the Alhambra including palaces and Generalife Gardens, local guide in Alhambra and headphones
Tour guides on trip: Speak English, Spanish, German, French

Opening hours for online bookings:
You can book online for next coming day Monday-Fredays until 18.30 and on weekends and holidays until 13.00.
After that online bookings is only possible for other days.
Travel Documentation: Valid passport or ID card for EU citizens
Pickup & Drop off: We will pick you up and drop you off at one of our many pickup points in hotels, busstops etc. along the coast.
Note: The prices for babies and children do not include seats or boosters.
Recomendations: Depending on the season, warm clothing is recommended as it can be cold.?Clothing appropriate to the season, comfortable shoes for walking.
Does the bus stop on the way?
That depends on the distance and on the trip. On the longest there is a stop both ways. However, if anybody for some reason need to stop, Just tell guide to do a stop.
Booking terms and cancellations (group tour):
Not coming at the acorded pickup time and place is considered No Show, and No Shows are charged with 100% of the total amount. Cancellation fees €23 as entrance is not refundable
